Theory of change

To build the world we need, we need hope, imagination, and agency.

It's the simple idea behind everything we make. Facts alone rarely move people. What moves people is believing a better future is possible, being able to picture it, and knowing they have a part to play.

The model

Three ingredients, in order.

01 — HOPE

Believe it's possible

Climate doom shuts people down. We start by making a better future feel believable and worth working toward — replacing guilt and dread with optimism.

02 — IMAGINATION

Picture it clearly

You can't build what you can't imagine. We help people picture the world we want in concrete, specific, human terms — not abstractions.

03 — AGENCY

Know you can act

Belief and vision turn into change only when people feel their own power. Everything we make ends with something you can actually do.
